The booking website www.toursiniceland.is is operated Tours in Iceland / Snörp ehf corporate ID 470417 1370, a fully licensed booking office and Information Centre in Iceland with license issued by the Icelandic Tourist Board. In these terms and conditions the booking website www.toursiniceland.is and other appearance like on Facebook and Instagram will be referred to as Tours in Iceland.
These are the terms and conditions which you agree to by using our website www.toursiniceland.is or any connected website (Facebook, Instagram). We reserve the right to update our terms and conditions and that can be without notice and as needed.
Tours in Iceland is a reseller of tours and services from a wide selection of tour operators in Iceland. By using the services after any amendments have been made to terms and conditions, you agree to any changes. If you do not agree to any of the terms and conditions, please do not use www.toursiniceland or any connected websites.
You agree to use www.toursiniceland.is , Facebook and Instagram only for lawful purposes and in a way, that does not restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use of www.toursiniceland.is. You will only use www.toursiniceland.is to make legitimate requests to book tours and other services that we offer through www.toursiniceland.is . That means no speculative, false or fraudulent requests. You also agree not to use robots or other automated means to access our products.
You agree that you are not a direct competitor of our company and that you will use the website only for personal use.
We cannot vouch for the accuracy in the descriptions of all the tours, but if someone is using our site to promote a tour with inaccurate information, we will act quickly to remove that content. You agree to let us know if something like that occurs so we can do something about it.
You are not permitted to copy, reproduce, republish, post, transmit or make available to the public or use any content owned by www.toursiniceland.is in any way except for your own personal use.
Tours in Iceland acts in good faith as a reseller of tours and is not liable for any accidents, losses, injuries, damages, delays, expenses due to any action or inaction on the part of the operator, guides, or their other employees.
If you do have any complaints about a tour, you agree to let us know so that we can help you to find a solution to your issue. The terms and conditions for each of the tour operators may differ depending on the services that they offer. Tours in Iceland is not responsible for any information about tours that we do not directly provide to you through our services and products.
Tours in Iceland does not guarantee availability for any tour until your booking has been confirmed and paid for. Certain tours are sensitive to changes in weather and may be cancelled. We cannot control the weather. See our cancellation policy below. We would advise all travelers to purchase comprehensive travel insurance in order to minimize any possible losses due to unforeseeable situations arising during your trip. We make our utmost to give you the best customer support through our email firstname.lastname@example.org. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions. Claims need to be reported by email. We will act promptly to all claims and try our best to sort that out.
Pricing of tours
The prices are managed through our booking system and are valid when they are displayed on our website www.toursiniceland.is. Please note that those prices are subject to change at any time by the suppliers. Prices are subject to change until the booking has been confirmed and paid for. All prices are including local VAT at the point of purchase. Prices do not include tips for guide, driver or other tour directors or any similar cost. If you want to tip them for good services you are welcome to do so.
In all tour description, you find in detail what is included. What is not specifically listed included is excluded.
All cancellations and changes to bookings must be made by e-mail to email@example.com .
If you reduce the number of people in a booking, that amounts to a cancellation of those passengers / participants. If you increase the number, please note that there may not be an available number of seats for the increase.
Cancellations are allowed but some tour operators have cancellation fees associated with their tours. These cancellation policies are displayed on the individual tour pages on our site, where applicable.
Cancellations can be made by the suppliers of tours due to weather or road conditions. Your safety is of the utmost concern, so if tour operators state it is not safe to travel we take that seriously because they are the experts. Any cancellations due to weather will result in a full refund.
Payment for tours is made through our secure payment gateway on www.toursiniceland.is When you make a payment through our site, a full payment is charged to your credit card. A refund of tour will be issued to the same creditcard.
Liabilities and Disclamer
Tours in Iceland and suppliers disclaim responsibility for any loss, damage, accidents, sickness or changes in schedules resulting from causes beyond the control of Tours in Iceland. Such causes include, but are not limited to, acts of nature, labor disputes or any other irregularly beyond Tours in Iceland’s control. We reserve the right to alter routes, itineraries or departure times without prior notice should that be necessary. In case of any changes in flights (domestic and international), the travelers shall pay any additional cost caused by this, at the time the service is provided (extra hotel nights, meals, transfers etc. We advise all travelers to have comprehensive travel insurance to meet all contingencies.
Tours in Iceland shall not be responsible for any injury, illness, damages, loss, loss of enjoyment, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to act or default by any company or person providing services included in the tours.
Tours in Iceland shall not be responsible for any sickness, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, government restrains, acts of war and/or terrorism, weather conditions, road conditions, defect in any vehicle of transportation, delays of flights or other services, for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond their control.
Icelandic law will completely govern all arrangements that are based on this contract, including all claims and demands for compensations. This is valid, both for the basis of the claim, and for the calculation of the amount of the compensations. The same is valid for any claims that are based upon responsibilities outside this contract.
